Hand made by a local craftsman from Alberta grown birch and diamond willow. He is the only one made this year and we are lucky to have him donated for our auction. Approx. 28 inches tall by 24 inches long, his whimsical expression, blue glass eyes and red nose will bring a smile to anyone who passes by. During Covid Christmas we need a lift; this basket is chock full of luxurious consumables. 1 bottle of Remy Cognac, 4 bottles of wine (Tom Gore sauvignon blanc, Mission Hill red blend, 1865 cab sauvignon, Magnetic Hill fruit wine), Planters peanuts, Black Magic Chocolates, Lindt dark chocolate collection and rounded out with Walkers shortbread biscuits. All this comes in a large decorative metal planter to remind you spring is coming.

Candles, candles, candles. If you like candles you are going to love this auction item. Reusable box with a selection of six really good candles. Party Light Large (9’ x3”) pillar candle natural color holiday spice scent and a Pair of Holt Renfrew candy cane stripe (9’ x3”) pillar candles peppermint scent, (all these are mildly scented).
Local hand made beeswax candles from Old Strathcona Farmers’ market (one 9” X 3” and the other 2” round). Pair of 14” Holt Renfrew candles for use in traditional candlesticks. All these are unscented.
Thrown in for good measure is a heart shaped container of Spanish chocolates and a 150 ml tube of L’Occitane (made in France) hand crème.
Damn, I think I’ll bid on this myself.
